Suntree 

Suntree is the largest master planned community on the Space Coast. It’s known for its wonderful, outdoor lifestyle. It contains a wide variety of neighborhoods and there is a busy, year round active social calendar.

Suntree’s two elementary schools have some of the highest test scores in the County and are convenient to all of the neighborhoods. There is a county library close to Suntree Elementary and it is a short drive to many of Brevard County’s attractions – the Brevard Zoo, the King Center for the Performing Arts, and The Avenues at Viera regional shopping center for fabulous shopping and dining. Suntree’s central location offers a perfect opportunity to head to the beaches, to the Intracoastal Waterway access, the Melbourne International Airport and the Orlando International Airport. Other wonderful venues to see include the Kennedy Space Center, Brevard Museum of Art & Science, Henegar Center for the Performing Arts, Brevard Symphony and historic downtown areas of Melbourne and Cocoa as well as the Eau Gallie Arts District.

Suntree has a wide variety of neighborhoods, all with a hometown atmosphere. Currently there are 5 “day parks” sprinkled randomly around the community – enjoy a picnic, fish or just relax for the day.

The larger parks include Interlachen Park on Interlachen Road which has over 5 acres with a shaded playground and pavilion with  fun  equipment for children to play. There is also a Little League ball field in the park, overlooking one of Suntree’s many lakes.

Jack Mahon Park located on Spyglass Hill Road and is over 15 acres. There is a large shaded playground, as well as a covered pavilion that can be reserved for special events. The park also boasts a regulation basketball, bocce ball and horseshoe courts.

There are also over 100 miles of winding trails – very enjoyable to use whether walking, biking, jogging or skating.

The Suntree Master Home Owners Association maintains over 1000 acres of lakes and waterways. Fishing is allowed as well as the use of kayaks and canoes. The St. Johns River Water Management District along with Brevard County and Suntree control water levels throughout the year and during serious storms.

Suntree also maintains a recreational vehicle storage facility available to residents. The below market rates let residents safely store boats, motor homes, campers, etc.

Suntree has 2 championship golf courses. All levels of play are accommodated. Tennis, pool and social memberships are also available.

All conveniences relating to your health and well-being are here in Suntree! The Veterans Administration Clinic, Viera Hospital, the Brevard County Government Services Complex, and the Brevard County School District’s administrative offices are within a short drive. Our new shopping center – The Avenue at Viera – has a great variety of stores with more coming, a movie theater and a wonderful selection of top-notch restaurants. A Super Target and Wal-Mart Super Center are also in the immediate area.
