Viera is a master planned community located in Central Brevard County.  Easy Acces to I-95 and Orlando and also close to beaches.  Viera consists of Single Family Neighborhoods and Multi Family projects.  All areas are beautifully maintained with lush and tropical landscaping.  Neighborhoods are connected by the community’s recreational trail system, which was designated an official “Florida Greenway” by former Florida Governor Lawton Chiles. The trail winds around lakes and through open spaces and conservation areas, where native scrub jays and gopher tortoise can be found. Three community parks are along the way with features such as state-of-the-art children’s play areas, recreational fields and basketball courts. Children can ride their bikes to ‘A’-rated Ralph Williams Elementary School, Viera’s first public school.

Recreation: Space Coast Stadium serves up major league baseball exhibition games as the spring training home of the Washington Nationals, and Florida State League games in the summer as home to the Brevard County Manatees, affiliated with the Milwaukee Brewers.  The county stadium is the focus point for The Viera Company's annual All American Celebration every Fourth of July.

The area also boasts Brevard Zoo which is a 75 acres facility that is home to more than 650 animals representing more than 165 species located in Florida, South America, Africa, Asia and Australia. The community built Brevard Zoo is among Viera’s most popular recreational venues and is located at the southern end of the Viera East community.

There are many community and neighborhood parks and playgrounds, the 125-acre Viera Regional Park is busy year round with families and children enjoying the outdoors, participating in an organized sporting event, or taking one of many classes offered in this county park's large community center.  

Golf:  The Duran Golf Club offers more than just a great round of golf; the West Indies-style clubhouse and Tradewinds restaurant make it a favorite for special events, and those wishing to brush up on their swing will value the Development Center and Academy of Golf.  Three signature Viera neighborhoods surround this championship course.

Health Care: Wuesthoff Health Systems, a leading, local healthcare provider, has chosen Viera East for several of its facilities, including Wuesthoff Assisted Living Center on Murrell Road and Wuesthoff Progressive Care Center, Brevard Hospice and Brevard Homecare, and Wuesthoff Central Laboratory on Spyglass Hill Road. Several other medical office buildings and specialized care centers, including the Autumn House Alzheimer’s Center, and One Senior Place, a unique resource center for seniors and caregivers, are located adjacent to these facilities. 

The Veteran's Administration Clinic is here, as well as Viera Health Park, an innovative medical campus that includes a Pro-Health & Fitness Center, a medical office building with diagnostic/imaging services, urgent care and multi-specialty physician offices and Viera Hospital, with 100 all-private beds, full-service Emergency Department, ambulatory care outpatient surgery, and more.

Shopping:  The community's shopping and dining hub is The Avenue Viera, an open-air shopping destination with stores such as Bed Bath and Beyond, Belk, Kohls, Old Navy and many more shops and restaurants.  Plus more shops and restaurants are nearby, including Wal-Mart and Super Target and Cracker Barrell.  

Education:  The two elementary schools in Central Viera are "A" rated and the local Viera High School has an Academy of Business and Finance and a Digital Arts Academy.
